The White Cross project is moving forward with the next stage of its development as work on the onshore cable route progresses.
Having secured the necessary planning consents for both the onshore and offshore infrastructure in 2025, and the conclusion of the Judicial Review proceedings earlier in 2026, the White Cross offshore windfarm project progresses into its next phase.
The project is now re-engaging with landowners, and their appointed agents, along the onshore cable route to progress formal negotiations to secure the land rights required for the project via voluntary agreement.
Over the past few weeks, the in-house White Cross lands team has been in contact with all affected landowners. Initial discussions have focussed on confirming land details and ownership of the land required for the project’s onshore cable corridor.
Over the coming months, the team will continue to work closely with landowners and their agents. Future engagement will involve detailed discussions regarding project plans, supporting documentation for the required land, and the progression of formal negotiations.
The White Cross project team recognises that a considerable amount of time has passed since the initial engagement on this matter, and we would like to thank all affected landowners and stakeholders for their continued patience.
If you have any questions relating to the above project activities, please contact the White Cross team by email on [email protected].
